My Best Photos of 2010

2010 has been a great year for me and my family. My amazing wife Jamie and I have seen our son turn into a blob of a baby to a growing young man. Its crazy how fast time flies by and watching him grow up and being a parent with Jamie has been the best part of the year. I also turned 30 this year, celebrated our two year wedding anniversary, crashed my quad and broke a vertebrate, went to Kauai, and once again went to a lot of great locations to do what I love, photography.

2010 King of the Hammers

One of the biggest events of the year for rock crawling is the King of the Hammers race out in Lucerne Valley, CA. This year it was a 140 mile loop with a mixture of desert racing and challenging rock trails thrown into the mix. Its a great event that every year keeps growing into a huge week long event.

Rockcrawling in Hannibal, MO

This past weekend I made the trek out to Round 2 of the WEROCK Eastern Series in Hannibal, MO.  I’ve yet to cover an event out there yet so I was excited to visit the land of Mark Twain.  For those of you who have never heard of Hannibal it is where the author Mark Twain grew up and inspired many of his books including Huckleberry Finn.  You can visit the cave in which has an important part in the book, but unfortunately I wasn’t able to make it there.  Maybe in the future with the wife and kid.
