LOORRS Breathes Fire Into Glen Helen

The Lucas Oil Offroad Racing Series (LOORRS) came back once again to Glen Helen for their annual night race. Glen Helen is always a fan favorite with full crowds and standing room only. The short tight track makes for some great battles where passing is hard to come by.

The 2013 SCORE Baja 500 Through My Eye

Shooting an offroad race down in Baja is always a great experience. The people are great and welcoming, and the atmosphere on race day is something you just don’t get in the states. 20 Photos That Define The Mint 400

The Mint 400 is a great race filled with rich tradition and historic racing. Desert Offroad Racing is my favorite thing to shoot for many reasons. This past weekend I traveled to Las Vegas to cover The Mint 400, and here are 20 of my favorite photos from the weekends festivities.

2012 X Games RallyCross & Enduro X

This year marked the first time I shot the X Games, and was looking forward to the challenge. My two assignments were to cover the RallyCross and Enduro X events, both which are things that I had never photographed up to that point. Since both events were on the same day I knew a busy day was ahead, first having to shoot RallyCross during the day, head straight to the media center in the Staples Center to upload photos for Race-Dezert.com, then head into the stadium to shoot Enduro X.

TORC In Crandon Gets Muddy

Nascar has Daytona, Formula 1 has Indy, and short course offroad racing has The Big House in Crandon. No other track has the rich history that Crandon does, and the amount of fans that show up haven’t been rivaled at any other track.

2011 Desert Season Has Begun

Almost two months ago I crashed my quad over Thanksgiving and suffered a concussion, broke rib, and a fractured L2 vertebrate. Because of that I had to miss two races in December, making it the first time in a long time that I didn’t shoot anything for over a full month. Instead I was out of working, laying in bed, unable to pick my own son up from his crib.
